Soto's Sphere at GeoGebra.

Inspired by the Sphere of Soto, presented in the image of the previous section, I created this application of GeoGebra that simulates these artistic work . From the point of view of the mathematics involved, it is necessary to observe that the sphere is a surface with an atlas of two charts. Thus the boundaries of the red colourations of the fibres oscillate between the projections of the points of the structure in these two charts. We could create a model using a polar mesh structure, unlike the mono-metrical and orthogonal grid that I use here.
In the next section, we model the "Soto´s Penetrable", a ellipsoid, that was installed at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and which can be seen in the video below.
